The X International Symposium on Banana / ISHS-ProMusa symposium, Agroecological approaches to promote innovative banana production systems, will be held from 10-14 October 2016 in Montpellier, France.

This symposium, organized by ProMusa and hosted by the Centre de Coopération Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (Cirad), will take place at Agropolis International.

The symposium will be structured around five complementary sessions. Each will cover different aspects of agroecology ranging from theoretical and innovative scientific knowledge from concrete applied cropping practices.

Montpellier is a crossroads of international agricultural research. The delegates will be able to participate in guided and interactive visits to cutting-edge laboratories and greenhouses and experience a banana-tasting session.
